Enjoy wine tastings at four Matinborough wineries, a light lunch at one of the many cafe's and finish the day with a visit to the Martinborough Wine Centre

Departing from Wellington Railway Station at 8.25am weekdays and 9.55am weekends and public holidays via Tranz Metro’s Wairarapa Service, you will be met at Featherston Railway Station by your Gourmet Wine Escape Coach and driver. | Because of the earlier departure time on weekdays, upon arrival in Featherston we allow time for a complimentary cup of tea or coffee (NB. Scone or muffin etc is at own cost) From Featherston we travel the 20 km’s to the Martinborough Wine Village, for the first of the four vineyards included in the tour. These are selected from and may include Te Kairanga, Muirlea Rise, Murdoch James Estate, Alana Estate, Palliser Estate Wines of Martinborough,or Martinborough, vineyards. From time to time others may be added subject to availability. |

Lunch is included in this tour package at one of the delightful cafe's the area has to offer. Depending on day to day availability, this would normally be at the Village Cafe at the Martinborough Wine Centre. Other options might include the restaurant at Alana Estate or Coney Wines (Other cafe's may be substituted from time to time due to a lack of availability of any of the above because of prior bookings.)

After lunch the tour visits the remainder of the days selected wineries. The final visit of the day is to the Martinborough Wine Centre or IN.GRE'DI.ENT Cafe for a further glass of wine or coffee or tea along with a delicious cheese platter.
Normally there would be enough time left to have a wander through the interesting range of retail shops and galleries that now make up the Martinborough Village. Departure from Martinborough is around 3.45pm weekdays and 5.00pm weekends and public holidays, when we travel back to Featherston. Here you will once again board the Tranz Metro train service for your journey back to Wellington arriving in the Capital at 5.15pm weekdays and 6.30pm weekends and public holidays.

Wellington Central City Transfer Option: Please make sure that you are waiting in the hotel foyer/reception from 7.30am Monday to Friday and by 9.00am on Weekends and Public Holidays. This option must be pre-booked a minimum of 48hrs prior to tour departure
