Travel Club Palmerston North
June / July 2006
Hi everyone. We are now half way through 2006 and have participated in several outings together.
Many of us enjoyed the day at Kapiti and you may remember the delicious homemade Shortbread at the Paraparaumu Aero Club. To me it tasted very similar to my mothers so I thought I would share her recipe with you.
MUM’S SHORTBREAD ½ lb butter ¼ lbs sugar ¾ lbs flour Cream Butter and sugar, add flour. Roll into a log and slice and bake at 160ºC for 20 minutes or until it looks cooked.
We would like to extend a special welcome to our new members and look forward to seeing you all on coming outings.
Membership Fees Final Reminder Oops, some of you forgot!!
A final reminder to those who have not yet paid their $5.00 membership fees, this is now overdue. Please ensure you get your payment in no later than Friday 30 June. We will otherwise assume that you wish to discontinue your membership and will take you off our mailout list. It would be easier if you let us know if you no longer wish to be a member. A big thankyou to all those who have paid.
